What a lovely summer afternoon!

BUCKFEST 2015

A sunny September afternoon with lots of music, food and drink for all the family.  What more could you ask?

The 1st ever Buckfest (this may possibly be renamed for future years) was a cracker. The weather held and the many acts we had put on outstanding performances. All being under 19 years of age and all being amazing musical talents. Padfoot (folk duet, Gilingham School) opened the event, followed by Phillip White (soloist Gillingham School), Sam Hurst (soloist, Sturminster Newton), Kookaburra (yr 10 band from Gillingham school), Luke’s band provided some heavy from (from Gloucestershire) all wrapped up by Alma (from Poole college).

The licensed bar and BBQ were a welcome addition and local Copse House Cider (from Sandley at the top of Buckhorn) was most quaff-able! If you missed 2015 then look out for adverts for this event next year!
