Gig on the green 2019 tickets

Saturday 31st August 2019 7pm for 7.30pm until 10.30pm.

Venue: Village Green (behind Buckhorn Weston Village Hall SP8 5HF)

A family friendly affair, atmospheric and fun night. Music with Big Brass Ska and acoustic interludes with Hope and Jess.

Tickets £6.00 adult, £4.00 children, U5s free.

With two hours of live music from the amazing and lively 10 piece band Big Brass Ska from their huge playlist of Madness and alike, along with fantastic acoustic duo Hope and Jess around the fire pits this should make for an exciting, fun and atmospheric event. There will be a licenced bar and food outlets on the Green.

Profits from the evening’s event will go to Dorset and Somerset Air and Ambulance and Buckhorn Weston Village Community Trust who are responsible for the upkeep of the wonderful Green acting as our venue, as well as providing a defibrillator in the village and providing free community First Aid training.

What a lovely summer afternoon!

BUCKFEST 2015

A sunny September afternoon with lots of music, food and drink for all the family.  What more could you ask?

The 1st ever Buckfest (this may possibly be renamed for future years) was a cracker. The weather held and the many acts we had put on outstanding performances. All being under 19 years of age and all being amazing musical talents. Padfoot (folk duet, Gilingham School) opened the event, followed by Phillip White (soloist Gillingham School), Sam Hurst (soloist, Sturminster Newton), Kookaburra (yr 10 band from Gillingham school), Luke’s band provided some heavy from (from Gloucestershire) all wrapped up by Alma (from Poole college).
